Geneva offers several Online Degree Programs designed to provide a flexible experience for working adults looking to complete a degree. In addition to the bachelor's degree programs, Geneva offers a program to earn an associate degree in General Studies.
By pursuing an associate degree, you can receive a broader education that can then focus on a particular subject by transitioning into a bachelor’s degree program. Regardless, if you wish to continue your education after earning your associate degree, this program will give you a step up in the professional world.
The course material for this degree program incorporates subjects such as English, religion, social sciences, natural sciences, and humanities. This program consists of 24 core credits and 36 elective credits, and can also be paired with a minor to increase your professional marketability to a future employer. Geneva also accepts up to 24 eligible transfer credits for this program for those who may have already completed some college courses at a different institution.
The General Studies program offers valuable flexibility to allow students to balance work, school, family, and life. Each student is paired with an academic advisor to create a custom degree plan that works for them. Additionally, all the coursework is completed online, giving students the freedom to choose a location most conducive to their learning.
Geneva also works to make this program accessible by offering opportunities for financial aid. Approximately 90% of ODP students receive some form of financial aid. Don’t let finances stand in the way of you taking the next step in your education. Look into what aid might be available to you and connect with an ODP admissions counselor.
Whether you’re looking to quickly enhance your marketability or want to pursue a bachelor’s degree but are unsure where to start, our advisors are here to help. Geneva College’s online Associate of Arts (AA) in General Studies degree program prepares you for the competitive workforce through an education rooted in faith.
