As college degrees are becoming increasingly common, with many jobs expecting applicants to possess a bachelor’s degree, some people may find that a traditional college education is not preferable or practical. A traditional college experience can be especially difficult for adults who need to earn a full-time income. Geneva understands that some students require a more flexible educational experience, which is why we offer online degree programs.
These degree programs are designed to be fully earned online, allowing students to juggle family, work, and any other commitments. Geneva offers bachelor degrees in Child & Family Services, Human Resources, and Management, as well as an associate’s degree in General Studies. As some students may have taken courses through other institutions, we accept up to 84 eligible transfer credits towards your degree.
Holly Seipp began her journey in the Child & Family Services program as an adult who had been working in the field for many years. Seipp shares, “Coming into this program as an adult gave me an advantage. I already had knowledge and skills I could apply in my coursework, giving me the ability to get the most out of it as possible.”
In addition to providing flexibility, the online degree programs offer an affordable path to earning a degree. Geneva offers competitive tuition rates, and these programs qualify for federal and state financial aid programs, military education benefits, and employer reimbursement programs. Approximately 90% of online students receive some form of financial aid.
Students receive high quality education in the online classroom that reflects Geneva’s standards and values. Every professor is fully equipped to teach and is dedicated to providing meaningful education for all students. Through pursuing an education online, students benefit from small class sizes and supportive faculty who are continually available to answer questions and provide guidance.
Seipp offers this advice, “If there is something in the back of your mind saying finish your degree, you should do it for yourself. You will put your education to good use.”
At Geneva, we believe pursuing a degree is valuable at any stage of life. If you are interested in increasing your professional marketability by pursuing a degree through one of Geneva’s online degree programs, connect with an admissions counselor or apply today!
